Andhra King Taluka Box Office Collection Day 1: Following the colossal bombing of his previous movie, the sci-fi actioner Double iSmart (2024), actor Ram Pothineni has delivered his lowest opening in the last five years. Despite having no major competitors at the box office, his latest romantic comedy, Andhra King Taluka, which hit the screens on Thursday, November 27, has failed to match the release-day collections of his last four films, let alone surpass any of them.

On Thursday, Andhra King Taluka recorded an India nett collection of just Rs 4.25 crore, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk. While Double iSmart debuted at Rs 7.35 crore in the domestic market, Skanda (2023), The Warriorr (2022), and Red (2021) collected Rs 11.5 crore, Rs 10 crore, and Rs 7.45 crore, respectively. If Andhra King Taluka also underperforms, it will mark Ram Pothineni’s fourth consecutive flop, as he hasn’t had a single hit since Red. While Double iSmart ended its theatrical run with a worldwide gross of just Rs 19 crore, Skanda earned Rs 53 crore, The Warriorr Rs 31.5 crore, and Red Rs 31.2 crore. Among his last four releases, Red was the only film to earn significantly higher than its reported budget.
During the day, Andhra King Taluka registered an overall occupancy of 32.97 per cent in the Telugu market. While the morning shows commenced with a 29.23 per cent occupancy, the rate dipped slightly in the afternoon to 26.64 per cent. Nonetheless, the figure improved as the day unfolded and stood at 32.41 per cent in the evening before peaking at 43.61 per cent during night screenings. The movie’s makers have yet to announce its first-day worldwide gross.
