Tanya Mittal may not have lifted the Bigg Boss 19 trophy, but she has undeniably emerged as the show’s biggest internet sensation. Her tall claims about her lifestyle and wealth kept her firmly in the spotlight throughout the season, turning her into one of the most entertaining contestants. From innocently claiming she didn’t know one needed “so many things” to take a shower, to fretting about how hurt her parents would be watching her do jhaadu–pocha, Tanya’s dramatic one-liners became meme material—and clearly, the strategy paid off.

Fresh out of the Bigg Boss house, Tanya has already landed her first acting assignment and ad film. The influencer-turned-reality star featured in an advertisement for a salon services brand, promoting the brand’s latest Korean beauty service. In the ad, Tanya is seen draped in a pink saree, staying true to her larger-than-life persona viewers saw on the show.
True to form, Tanya once again makes exaggerated claims in the commercial. In a scene, she tells her friend, “Listen to me. I travel from Gwalior to Delhi and from there, I directly fly to Korea every week to get my Korean beauty services done. Just look at my glow.”
Her friend reacts skeptically, asking, “Don’t you think this is a bit over?”

Unfazed, Tanya responds in her trademark style, “This is not over, this is my basic. I have several business setups in Korea and Koreans are my fans.”

The punchline arrives when the friend snatches her phone, opens the Yes Madam app, and exposes the truth. Tanya immediately backtracks, saying, “This is what I meant—I get my Korean beauty services done at home through Yes Madam.”
The ad has sparked mixed reactions online. While many congratulated Tanya on achieving her first ad post-Bigg Boss, others felt she needs to polish her acting skills. One user commented, “Thoda overacting sa lag raha hai.”
Earlier, Tanya had shared a behind-the-scenes video from the ad shoot, where a crew member asked her, “This is your first ad—how do you feel?” To this, she replied, “I am very excited. I didn’t expect people to approach me so quickly. It’s just been three days since I stepped out of the Bigg Boss house, and I have already started shooting. I am really happy that I have found my first director in Mumbai.”
Tanya finished the season as the third runner-up, while Gaurav Khanna emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 19.
According to reports, her popularity on the show may have also opened doors to other assignments as well. During one of the episodes featuring Ekta Kapoor, the producer reportedly asked Tanya to meet her after the show, expressing interest in casting her in a future project. However, there has been no official update on the collaboration so far.
