Submission checklist
- Original work (not published elsewhere) or clearly labeled republished content with permission.
- Word count: typically 600–1,500 words for features, 300–600 for news briefs.
- Provide full author name, short bio (50–70 words), and a headshot (optional).
- Sources & links: include references for factual claims and links to primary documents.
- Disclose conflicts of interest or affiliations up front.
How to submit
Email: contact@news.trpcoder.com with subject Contribution: [proposed headline]. Attach the article as a Word or Google Docs link and include author bio.
Editorial process
- We may edit for clarity, tone, length and house style.
- Submissions go through fact-checking and may be subject to further verification.
- We will seek approval for substantive edits affecting the piece’s meaning.
Rights & payment
- By submitting, you grant TRP News a non-exclusive, perpetual right to publish the piece. Terms of payment (if any) must be agreed in advance in writing. If payment is to be provided, we will make that explicit before publication.
Byline & corrections
Authors receive bylines and author pages. If corrections are needed after publication, contact contact@news.trpcoder.com.
