The Immigration and Foreigners Act 2025, the law that has completely changed the game.

Passed in March 2025 and enforced from 1st September 2025, this single new law has replaced four older ones with one clear message:
India is not a dharamshala anymore.
Its provisions are sharp and uncompromising:
•Entering India without a valid passport or visa means 5 years in jail + ₹5 lakh fine.
•Carry fake documents, and you face ₹10 lakh penalty plus immediate deportation.
