Cricketer Arjun Tendulkar is all set to tie the knot with longtime partner Saaniya Chandhok on March 5, and the wedding festivities have officially begun in Mumbai after pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The couple’s sangeet ceremony on Tuesday night turned into a glamorous affair, drawing cricketers, filmmakers and close friends of the Tendulkar family.

Sachin Tendulkar kept it timeless in a beige-gold embroidered sherwani paired with green kurta and matching trousers. Groom-to-be Arjun Tendulkar complemented the mood in an ivory-gold sherwani with subtle detailing, looking every bit ready for his big day.
Anjali Tendulkar wore intricately embroidered black and gold lehenga, while Sara Tendulkar opted for red and golden lehenga. Bride-to-be Saaniya Chandhok looked beautiful in a beige seiquinned lehenga.

Anupama chose a vibrant fuchsia kurta styled with a flowing mint-green satin skirt, accessorised with statement jewellery. Pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar
Earlier, on February 25, Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians, the team Arjun Tendulkar represents, shared a special video capturing moments from the elegant pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, along with heartfelt wishes for the soon-to-be-married couple.
The 92-second clip opened with Reliance Industries chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani and entrepreneur Nita Ambani warmly welcoming guests to the venue. The Tendulkars and Ambanis have shared a close bond over the years.
As the video unfolded, Nita revealed that Arjun and Saaniya were hosting the celebration at the Ambani family’s Jamnagar bungalow — the same venue where Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot in 2024. Expressing gratitude, Sachin said, “Bhabhi and Mukesh bhai, I don’t think we could have chosen better people to bless the couple for the journey ahead.”
Reflecting on the moment, he added, “Jab beta kisi ladki ko ghar leke aata hai, introduce karne ke liye, then you know ki beta badh gaya hai (When your son brings a girl home to introduce her, you know that he has grown up). They (Arjun and Saaniya) look madly in love with each other.” The cricket legend also shared how proud he was that his son had found someone who “loves you as much as you love her.”
