Dacoit teaser: The teaser of Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur starrer Dacoit was released by the makers on Thursday. The upcoming action-thriller, also features Anurag Kashyap, in his Telugu debut. The teaser showcases Adivi and Mrunal as robbers and Anurag as the villain.
The video opens with Adivi discussing with a friend how Mrunal has agreed to go along with his plan. However, once he makes his proposition, the teaser quickly shifts into action mode, with Mrunal quite literally taking the wheel. It then goes on to showcase the duo in full heist mode.

One of the standout elements of the teaser was a remixed version of “Kanne Pettaro” from Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishnan, and Soundarya’s hit film Hello Brother (1994), which played in the background. Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni, and Sunil also featured in the teaser of Dacoit.

Several fans flooded the comments section, expressing their excitement after watching the teaser. “Waaah! Em teaser cut anna..Nee slang adhiripoindhi anna (What a teaser cut brother. Love your slang),” a fan wrote. “Looks intense, need popcorn,” another person commented. “Anurag kashyap comeback as a actor is outstanding,” a comment read.
For the unversed, Dacoit earlier starred Shruti Haasan as the female lead, alongside Adivi Sesh. However, she walked out of the project due to creative differences.
Directed by Shaneil Deo and produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, Dacoit, which also stars Zayn Marie Khan and Kamakshi Bhaskarla, is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Ugadi, after being postponed from its originally planned Christmas release.
